Safety & Quality

Safeguarding people, the environment and reputations with proactive behavior.

There is no substitute for a strong organizational safety culture. At Fluid Tech, we know that safety extends beyond the actions of our company to the secondary use of our products by our clients, often in hazardous work environments.

Acknowledging secondary safety concerns means acting with the corporate responsibility to ensure information on products, equipment and process are readily available to customers and stakeholders.

Environmental Health and Safety

Fluid Tech is committed to ensuring that the safety of its employees, the public and the environment come first. Led by the example of our management, each employee is actively encouraged to further improvements upon safety-related practices and procedures. Our employees are trained to identify hazards and to take the appropriate actions when needed to ensure a safe working environment.

Safe by Design

Fluid Tech implements a truly efficient design process that uses value-added engineering methods to enhance safety. Our design process incorporates the review and oversight of safety-related systems by engineering personnel, operators and trainers. This ensures a logical and practical approach is applied to the design cycle prior to engaging in review cycles with our customers. Other key considerations such as the installation process, ease of maintenance, and decommissioning at the end of the equipment’s useful life, undergo intense scrutiny prior to completion of a final design.

Empowering People

Employee safety is paramount and includes the freedom for employees to make on-the-job decisions to protect themselves.

Fluid Tech is an equal opportunity employer. We strive to continually lead with our values and beliefs that enable our colleagues to develop their potential, bring their full self to the workforce, and engage in a workplace of inclusion.

Quality Assurance

At Fluid Tech, we strive to achieve the highest standards of value and reliability for our customers through a total commitment to quality. The Fluid Tech Quality Assurance (QA) Program is founded on the principles described in DOE O 414.1D (QA Order), DOE-Wide Suspect/Counterfeit Items Prevention Process, 10 CFR 830 Subpart A (QA Rule), ASME NQA-1 Basic Requirements (Chapters 1-18), and principles rooted in ISO-9001. Through its QA Program, Fluid Tech has established a system to identify, track and maintain quality objectives which are regularly measured and reviewed as key performance indicators in order to continually improve Fluid Tech’s Quality Program. Quality is a fundamental principle behind the equipment and services that Fluid Tech provides and is essential to ensuring safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.
